-Ensure all employees are aware about the Environment, Health and safety Policy. Review the policy as and when required
-To implement, practice and record work permit system as per SOP and implement it
-To carry out internal Safety audits, preparation of reports and documentation . Also cEHS audit and observation compliance
-Ensure the personal protective equipment’s usage and its availability
-To organize measures necessary for accident prevention and effective control of personal injuries and property damage aiming for zero accidents
-To carry out investigation of accidents and incidents to reduce unsafe acts and conditions and investigate cause of accidents and maintain records
-To design and conduct the safety training for company and contract employees, conducting Mock drills documentation and follow up for implementing the recommendations
-To maintain the fire protection & fire fighting systems, follow up for monthly service and record of it to fulfill the requirement of documentation
-To conduct Safety & Environment promotional activities like Safety Week Celebration, World Environment Day etc
-To conduct Central Safety Committee meeting, Management Review Meeting and attend Global Monthly/ Quarterly Takeda EHS WebEx
-To ensure Process Safety Management
-To lead the departmental activities related to the EHS management system (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001)
-To lead site crisis management and site business continuity management
