HSE Manager

Location:  India, India, Navi Mumbai

What you will do

Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines, Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.Ensure that Implementation of established Policy & Procedure at working site. Maintain the premises in a way that ensures the health and safety of people working on site. Disclose to Management the full details of any potential hazards in or around the workplace so they can be eliminated or controlled. Comply with occupational health and safety requirements and orders.

How you will do it

-To planning, developing and implementing system in accordance with EHS Management standards

-To manage internal and external audits

-To initiate Non-confirmative to all departments and divisions and ensure corrective action plan where necessary and verify the proposed solutions are carried out

-To circulate the EHS update

-To attend meeting with customer if necessary in order to assist EHS queries

-To maintain emergency preparedness process at the site

-To prepare safety data sheet at sites, monthly EHS report, incident report and conduct investigation

-To ensure necessary EHS documents are updated to meet the local statutory requirements

-To provide necessary assistance on training need of company personnel in all matters concerning the proper and effective operation of EHS department

-To regular review of customer feedback / complaints / EHS records and analysis of data

-To monitor EHS Policy and objective are suitable and effectively met by the company

-To report the performance of EHS operation manager and review as a basis for continual improvements

-To conduct training to employees & contractor and monitor their EHS performance

-To review and monitor waste disposals are in lineup with EHS management requirement and local statutory requirements

-Conduct customer survey at least every six months, ensure to implement customer complaints, feedback, CAPA in order to monitor very closely with company performance

What we look for

Required

-Bachelor’s degree/Diploma/ Master’s degree from an accredited university. Diploma in Industrial Safety/NEBOSH certification

-3 years plus experience as a safety Manager

-Well verse with MS-office

-Must have demonstrated success in managing a good EHS systems and processes

-Must be action oriented and demonstrate energy for things seen as challenging

-Ability to travel frequently; manage a team as needed to drive change

-Must possess leadership, presentation and training skills

-Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Must have strong analytical skills to determine root cause analysis & set corrective action/course

-Must enjoy working as both an individual contributor and as a facilitator for work teams
